Hello,

is there anyway not to force guest to check the "I have read and agree to the Terms and Privacy policy" box?

I was thinking that disabling the "Checkbox: I Agree to Forum Privacy Policy" option would to it but to no avail.

I know this box goes away after first post, but still I want to be able to disable it completely.

Hi @brakkar,

Please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Tools > Privacy & Rules admin page, and disable the checkboxes in user registration form.

Hi @sofy ,

as you can see in the image, I disabled the box, but it still shows when a guest tries to post.

I don't want guets to have to check this box and I expected this setting to disable it. Shouldn't it be the case?

Hi @brakkar,

Please leave a link to your forum registration page, i think it's not the wpForo checkbox, it comes from other plugin.

Hi @robert

unfortunately I can't post a link for now as it's a work in progress closed from external access, but here is an image of how it looks like.

@brakkar,

Please go to Dashboard > Forums > Tools > Privacy & Rules admin page and check all these again. The terms and privacy policy page URL fields should be empty.

@robert thanks that was it: the url fields were not empty.
I find this a bit confusing, I think the button when set to "disable" should take precedence whether or not the fields are empty.

@brakkar,

I agree. Probably we'll change it in future releases.
