Hello,

My forum seems to be functioning okay and I have used the shortcode on my own page to display it, which is great.  Everything seems to be linked up apart from when viewing the first page, none of the active forum info is appearing...for example, even if I had 1000 members, it will still say 1 member (or whatever it was when the shortcode was first entered) on the initial page.  Does the shortcode not just link to the homepage of the forum and update as new members join?  I hope this makes sense!?!

Thanks,

Paul

@sofy Thanks. I've just noticed it looks like it's showing the admin backend before you click on any topics too, so I'm not sure what I've done wrong here?! The url is www.songrisenetwork.com

Could you please record a video where we can see the issue?

@sofy Not sure how I would send a video, but I've attached some pics (seems to only upload one at a time so sorry for the separate posts!)  The first two show the (wrong) statistics as seen on the 'forum' page of my site.  The second two show the actual statistics when you start using the forum.  As you can see, the options along the top bar are different also for some reason?!

If I went onto the page back end and typed the [wpforo] short code in again, it would update it to the correct statistics, but as soon as someone else joins or posts, it doesn't update in real time.

I hope this all makes sense and you can help.

Thanks,

Paul

If you have a cache plugin installed on your website, please check this FAQ: https://wpforo.com/community/faq/wpforo-and-cache-plugins/

@sofy No, I don't have any cache plugins installed to my knowledge.  Some of the fonts change also when you start actually engaging with the forum if that gives you any more clues as to what might be the issue?  Do I definitely just use the [wpforo] short code?  I don't have to enter the board page id anywhere?  The short code is effectively just putting up a screenshot of whatever the forum looks like when I entered the code.  I assume it is supposed to update in real time?
