This is a really strange error.
On one topic I can't see the page and get a 500 error message. All other forums/topics under the parent forum I can access perfectly.
All other members eg moderators and members can access this topic with no problems.
I have set up another registration so I can access this topic as a work around. I set my new registration up as a moderator.
So I assume there is something on this particular topic conflicts with admin/full access.
I have made no changes it just started happening around 11 am this morning.
I access the forum from my PC and my iPhone. I tried deleting cache but no result.
Has anyone heard of admin being the only member not able to access a topic before? 🙂
Thanks in advance.
Hi cthgpro,
This is your website specific issue.
I suggest you do the following steps and check after each step.
-
- Please deactivate wpForo and activate it again. Please don't use the Uninstall button, this will remove all data, only use the Deactivate / Activate buttons.
- Navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Forums admin page, edit every forum, then click on "Publish" button.
More info here: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/categories-and-forums/category-vs-forums/
- Navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Forum Accesses admin page, edit every Access then click on "Update" button.
More info here: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/wpforo-settings/forum-accesses/
- Navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Usergroups > admin page, edit every Usergroup then click on "Save" button.
More info here: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/members/usergroups-and-permissions/
If these steps don't help, please send admin login details to support[at]gvectors.com email address.
Thanks I tried all of your steps but it ended up stopping moderators from being able to see the topic as well as myself. lol
I will work on it for another 24 hours before I bother you.
Thanks
