We have been able to embed google forms into our forum post and they have worked but the last few days they no longer are pulling up. Any ideas?

This can't work on wpForo post unless you've done this change in template files:
And yes, it seems you've done this change and you have a copy of the first layout post.php template file of wpForo in your current WordPress active theme folder.
The reason why it doesn't work is you've changed forum layout from Extended (#1) to Simplified (#2) but you've not doen the same changes for Simplified layout like it's done for the Extended layout posts.php files. So please do the same with /classic/layouts/2/posts.php like it explained in the link post.
