Thanks to @Robert, as requested a new single thread. The original post was:

a minor problem, but maybe someone has a solution. Using the template "Voice", we use the WPForo-sidebar in forum itself. Everything looks great (first picture).

When we put the same widget into a sidebar and on a side provided by Voice, the layout does not look so nice any longer (picture zwo).

Does anyone know how to correct this?"

Your questions ...

  1. Do you use any profile plugin?
  2. Have you deleted all caches?
  3. Is this a user specific issue or for all users?
  4. URL to your forum

1. No. The only plugin concerning avatars is "Disable User Gravatar" that only prevents that avatars are being taken automatically. Deactivating it did not change the issue.

2. Yes, several times.

3. No, it seems to happen for testusers.

4. As we are still hidden under coming-soon-page, how can I send you the credentials?

Again thanks for the update and the new functions!

Yours, Bernd

Thank you @berndg,

After deactivating the "Disable Avatar" plugin you should delete website cache, then delete forum cache in Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page.

Also, please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features admin page and make sure these options are enabled:

  • Replace Author Avatar with Forum Profile Avatar
  • Enable Avatars
  • Enable Custom Avatars

@robert Thanks, Robert.

Here's what I did:
- disabled the Gravatar plugin
- check: the three items checked in the settings were enabled
- deleted the forum cache (user cache
- deleted the CSS/JS-cache of Asset Clean Up Pro
- cleared the browser cache again

No change, unfortunately. Then I saw that the following updates have come...

wpForo - User Custom Fields
wpForo Private Messages

... and also installed for safety. Unfortunately also no change. If you have more work to do because of the rollout, that doesn't need a high priority now.

Thanks, Bernd

@berndg,

Please send the admin login details to info[at]gvectors.com email address. I'll ask the developers to check the issue for you.

@berndg,

Please check the login details one more time. We're not able to login via the accesses you've provided.

@sofy I checked the user for Gvectors and something was wrong about the role, sorry. Sent the credentials via mail, thank you for caring!

@berndg,

This is not the wpForo issue for sure. It seems one of the active plugins or theme caused the issue. You should deactivate the plugins one by one and check after each deactivation to fond a problem maker. Unfortunately the plugin editing feature is closed for us thus we're not able to debug and find it.
