Dear Support Gurus

I am currently using the Groups plugin for WordPress to dictate what pages my subscribed users can look at and access.

Is there a way to hide certain forums and or posts from being viewed or accessed based on user group or login?

I am hoping to have certain subforums not viewable by some visitors but accessible to others without creating a separate page or even separate forums (Which I am not sure is possible)

Thank you for your help and wisdom

Hi @infotranscendent-studio,

Please read Robert's answer:

I'd also suggest you check out the following article, it also could be helpful:

I'm not sure it's possible for wpforo to use your wordpress groups but you could maybe create member groups in the forum with the same or similar names to your wordpress groups.

You could then assign members to those forum groups.

Then go into each forum and set the permissions for each member group such as "No Access" or "Standard Access".

Hope that helps.
