I have gone through all the settings to ensure guests are setup to view each forum and the guest level is set on each forum. Guests still cannot see the forums or posts. If you are a guest and click on recent posts, you can see the recent posts though. But you cannot see any forums or posts under specific forums. I noticed that if I edit the FORUM page and add text to it, guests cannot see the text on the FORUM page unless I am logged in with a valid WordPress account. it seems to be something with the page permissions but I am not sure. I am trying to set it up so guests can see the forums and read the posts but not post or reply.

Guess can see the members, recent posts but when you click on the forums option, nothing shows up except for the title of the main board. I have attached what it looks like for a guest account. I am just trying to figure out why guests cannot see the forum list or topics when all the permissions are set properly from what I can see.

Again, if I add text to the forum page, a guest cannot see it but a registered user can. The page is set to public and the [wpforo] tag is in the page.

Any help is appreciated as I cannot figure it out.

Hi @smccarthy945,

1. Make sure the Guest usergroups has not been replaces. The usergroups ID MUST be 4. If your guest usergroups has the ID:4 then it's ok

2. Then edit all categories and forums in wpForo > Forums admin page and make sure the Guest group is assigned to "Read Only" access.

3. Then go to wpForo > Accesses, edit the Read Only access and make sure it looks like this:

4. If you have any cache plugins, please reset all caches, then go to wpForo > Overview admin page, scroll down and click the [Delete All Caches] button.

5. If nothing helped, please share the forum URL, this could be CSS issue as well. Maybe the forum section is set diplsay:none.
