Hello,

I decide to write to you because I can't solve my problem despite all my research here on your forum and by myself.

My settings seem correct compared to the documentation and the answers already given here, but the problem persists...

Guests are shown the following messages:
"You are not authorized to view this content
Go to Login or Register"

I would like to display topics also for "visitors", "guests".

In 'user groups' there is [Anonymous] with default access to 'read_only).

In "Permissions" read-only access is configured like this, only the following boxes are checked :

  • Can see a forum
  • Can open a forum
  • Can see a topic
  • Can see answers
  • Can view attached files

Forum configuration (and category):

  • Administrator = Full Access
  • Moderators = Moderator access
  • Registered = Standard Access
  • Guest = Read-only access
  • Customer = Standard Access

Despite this configuration which seems good to me, emptying the caches, synchronization of the profiles, ... deactivating the cdn cloudflare, and emptying the caches of my cache plugin, nothing helps, I cannot mount the content of a topic.

I am missing something or there is a problem 🙂

In 'user groups' there is [Anonymous] with default access to 'read_only).

why did you create a new usergroup [Anonymous] instead of using the existing usergroup "Guest"

I didn't create this group, maybe I renamed it to try to find a solution...

Could the problem come from there?

The group id is 4, the default...

Thanks @Tutrix for trying to help me.
Please tell me that I have read and re-read all the documentation, the various topics on this possible problem, but that did not help me.
(I discover WpForo, I was under PhpBB)

"Anonymous" comes from the translation actually, because I find that I can't change the name... This group (id4 is read_only)

Here is my configuration in picture (it's in French...):

Screenshot 1
Screenshot 2

I feel like this looks correct, but still the message and can't see the topics and replies!
