Limited Support
Our team is currently on holiday, so support will be limited during this period. Response times may be slower than usual, and some inquiries may be delayed.
We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we’ll resume our usual support by the end of August.
Is there a way to hide a forum completely from all groups except for specific groups? When logging in, members from the specific groups would see that category/forum (it would not be viewable by the rest of the site population and other groups). To me, this would be the same as using multiple boards and much easier to maintain. Is this possible?Â
Hi,
Sure there is. You can set 'No Access' for all usergroups in the 'Forum Permissions' section on the forum Add/Edit screen. Please refer to this FAQ for detailed guidance: https://wpforo.com/community/faq/wordpress-user-roles-wpforo-usergroups-and-forum-accesses/#post-39664
Fantastic, @sofy I just learned something. I appreciate your quick response it is very appreciated.
If you care to respond to this question, great; if not, it's all good. Why would you use multiple boards when you have these features on a forum? What is the advantage of having multiple boards versus features like the one just discussed?
Could you add a multi-board to the topic title, please? This could be helpful for other users. Thank you
