In light of our current situation, I have added a new section on Coronavirus.  I would like to hide the rest of my forum, all categories and subfolders but can't work out how to do this.  I'm using the extended layout. Can you help please?

Hi @jenine

Please navigate to the Dashboard > Forums >  Forums admin page edit the layout you want to hide, find the "Forum Permissions " section and set No access for all usergroups, besides Admin.

Each forum has its separate access. In Forum settings you can attach one of Forum Access to certain Usergroup, thus each usergroup will have different access/permissions in different forums. For example, if you want to keep private a forum and only allow Admins to have access you can set No Access to all Usergroups except Admins in add/edit forum page.
So you'll just need to edit each forum you want to hide and set No access for all user groups, besides Admin.
The forum you'd like to make visible should have the default access, For example:
Read-only forum access (usually used for Guests usergroup)
Standard forum access (usually used for Registered usergroup)
Moderator forum access (usually used for Moderators usergroup)
Full forum access (usually used for Admins usergroup)
