[Solved] How to activate BB Code and HTML code in the reply section?

Hi, I tried to search about enabling the BB Code and HTML code in the reply section but I cannot find any answer. Please help. Thanks

Hi @forummember,

wpForo only uses HTML, there is no BBCode in wpForo.

For the HTML tags you can use "Allow extra HTML tags" setting in wpForo > Settings > Posting & Editor Settings admin page to add new HTML tag. It has a specific syntax so you should follow it.

Hi @robert sorry I am a little bit confused, I will add the HTML tag that I want on the provided space, right? See the attached screenshot.

No, it's not right. The way to add a new tag is described under the option title. Please read it again.

Also, please let me know what HTML tag you want to add, almost all secure HTML tags are already allowed.

@forummember,

[reply] [/reply] is not an HTML tag, it's can be a bbCode. I've already mentioned that wpForo doesn't support bbCode so you cannot do that.
