In wpForo 2.x, the permalink structure (appears) to have changed to now include the member's unique name:

https://www. [website]/participant/[member "name"]/account/

I am trying to figure out how to add a text link in a forum post to help direct new members to their individual wpForo profile account (settings) pages so that they can update any important data here after registering.

Is there any "techie" way I can get my HTML text links to generate the /[member name]/ part that is unique to each user?

Thanks!

You mean Wordpress 6.0.1

Yes. Apparently, I did mean 6.0.1. The placeholder text in the "Add Topic" field for "WordPress Version" is written as: "e.g. 6.1" and I made the assumption this was the current version.

I just corrected my post field.

Just saying, not trying to be clever, since 6.1 may exit in some alpha or beta release 🙂

Dashboard / wpforo /Settings/ Login & Registration to set the redirects

websiteurl/participant/account/ & websiteurl/participant/profile/ will automatically redirect to to your own account / profile.

Example: https://wpforo.com/participant/account/

And if you are not logged in it will redirect you to the login page

@verek

Thank you! Great explanation.

Just tried it, and (of course, as you know) it works perfectly.
