Along with my public forums, I would like to offer a support forum where only the original poster and a support level user (admin, moderator) can view and respond to a thread.

So basically it would be a private thread between the two. No one else can view/respond.

Is that possible with wpforo?

Thanks,

Chris

@christophera,

yes, sure, you just need to ask them to set "private" their topics. They can use the checkbox in the topic creation form or the button on the already created topic:

Private topics are only visible to the topic author and to admin/moderator level users. The permission have already been given in corresponding forum accesses (wpForo > Accesses).

Ah, yes, that's exactly the behavior I am looking for.

Anyway to set that as the default for a specific forum, a paid option or snippet? This will work as is, but I would love to have it automatic so I didn't have to rely on them checking that 🙂
