Are you logged-in in the screenshot?
Do you have a cache plugin?
Where we can check it (leave some URL)?

I don't use any yet

Where we can check it (leave some URL)?

I don't have the site online, I use it on my localhost pc, when I'm ready I'll put it online

Please click the [Mark all read] link in the forum footer and let me know if the issue is fixed.
Also, go to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features Tab ad make sure "Log Viewed Forums and Topics" option is enabled.
Make sure the "Forum Cookies" option is enabled in Dashboard > Forums > Tools > Privacy & Rules Tab.
Try other browsers and user accounts. Make sure this is not a user specific issue.
