Now when I try to go to the wp-admin it redirects me to the home page same if I try sign-in. Why does it do that?
I found this page below and think I might know what was happening. However, Google does not like duplicate pages. So, if I follow the steps on the link below to make the forums my home page, won't I be creating the same content on my site?

Now I am having a different problem. When I click on the links for members or anything it's not taking me to the page.
It's still redirecting me after I log out, so I can't log in. What did you guys do to this cool forum? I used it years ago, and it was intuitive and user-friendly. What happened?

Nothing happened. It is something on your side.
Start by deleting this from your Wordpress. NO CACHING for wpForo. You got a warning during thr installation:
