I'm sorry, but there is no any update yet. You can disable the Read/Unread logging using the according option in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features Tab.

Any updates here?

I would really like to have this feature as well. As an Admin it is quite annoying not to have coherent information about what I have read when I am answering posts both on mobile and desktop.

Also new members tend to complain that they are not able to mark all forums as read.
