Hi @redblue,

You don't lose any date if you use the "deactivate" button. You'll lose all forum data If you click the "Uninstall" button.

Okay, ty. My catch is empty and I reactivate wpforo and buddy press. But I don't get it why I should uncheck " Turn WordPress to wpforo"

I want use wpforo as a stand alone homepage.

Please only use the "Turn WordPress to wpForo" option if you're not going to have any page (in your case, you're using the BuddyPress profile pages) and any other non-forum content on website front-end. 

I suggest you check out the instruction on how to set forum on the home page:

That depends on current active theme. Most of themes have Full Width template when you're adding or editing a page:
