When I, as an admin, post a new topic on the forum, it sends the "New Topic" notification e-mail. But when a user posts a topic and I approve it, the topic is posted but no "New Topic" notification e-mail is sent. I've tried looking at user group permissions and e-mail settings, but I'm not seeing anything glaringly obvious. Is there a setting I'm missing? Thanks for any help!

Hi @ahsawebpage,

Please navigate to the Dashboard  > Forums > Settings > Email admin page and make sure the following two options are set yes:

. Notify Admins via email on new Topic

. Notify Admins via email on new Post

Thank you for responding. I'm getting the post emails. None of my subscribers are, but only when someone other than the admin posts. If I submit a new topic, a notification e-mail goes out to everyone saying a new topic has been posted. If one of my subscribers posts a new topic, a notification email does not go out.

@ahsawebpage,

wpForo has built-in forum/topic subscription confirmation function. Users should subscribe manually. User clicks on the “Confirm my subscription” link and starts getting new topic notification emails.
