Hello, 

 

I am using SG Optimizer plugin. When it is active, the forum shows some broken content (see attached image).

 

I was wondering what optimisation setting is likely causing this?

Remove that plugin or exclude wpForo page from it. Caching or whatever.

If you can't exclude anything, remove it and use Autooptimize for optimizations and some other cache that allows you to exclude pages.
