Still those errors and notices are being logged and users see 504, 524 (apache) and 404(nginx) errors and memory surge as well.

I don't see any point to try the topic you're referring.

Why haven't you excluded the forum page from your cache plugin yet? You should do nothing but find a way to exclude the forum page from your cache plugin.
