Hey gents -
Amazing plugin! I've been searching for a solid and streamlined plugin for a few days and this fits the bill, perfectly.

I'm playing with setup now and have noticed that my blog / page sidebar is a bit intrusive with the forum. I searched my pages thinking that 'community' may have been auto-created and I could then just remove the sidebar from that page, but this isn't the case.

How could one remove the blog/page sidebar on the forum only?

Cheers!

Hi, I had the same problem but I just sorted, by default wpforo create  a menu, a sidebar and widgets, you just make sure that you use  "Full Width" or "One Column" on your page, then move wpforo widgets to wpforo sidebar.

Just read #4 on this info here

Cheers

Thanks for chiming in, TD.

Here's point 4:

  1. Forum Sidebar and Widgets: In Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets wpForo creates forum specific widgets and wpForo Sidebar. if you use wpForo sidebar you should make sure the forum page has not other sidebars, the page Template should be set "Full Width" or "One Column" or "Two Column with Right Sidebar". wpForo Sidebar is a left sidebar.

I'm just not clear on how to set the forum page set to 'Full Width'.

Having gained an example from this support forum, ideally I'd like to incorporate the wpForo sidebar via the widget area (which I can see). Again, just not sure how to set my Forum page (currently /community) to be full-width and override my WP theme's sidebar.

I hope that makes sense.

Cheers!

You should use Full Width" or "One Column" page template for forum.

That's depends on current active theme. Most of themes have Full Width template when you're adding or editing a page:
