I like to restrict a certain forum for a certain membership level to only be able to replay and read current posts, and the next level can also post new topics

Is that possible? Do I need to use different roles? Can I use the MemberPress levels directly?

Hi @lioruser,

You can set different Forum Accesses to different Usergroups. Each forum can be available for certain Usergroup. There are many examples explained how to manage Users accesses in Forums:
