What kind of shortcode when I want to show only 4 newest topics?

Need to show 4 latest topics and other area 4 latest posts.

See image. I cant use widgets.

I have 2 column page. Just like this page.

wpForo doesn't have Widget shortcode,

If you want to show maximum of 4 Recent Topics, then you should insert wpForo Recent Topics widget in wpForo Sidebar from Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets, and in wpForo Recent Topics widget settings set the Number of Items to 4

OK. I can't use the sidebar on the frontpage because it takes up too much space
