I create a new forum by giving a new forum slug and publish it. Then, I can visit the forum with a link - "my-domain-name/forum-slug-name" without any issue. But the link is broken as forum slug name changes by itself after I edited the forum. I again need to re-edit the forum and rewrite the forum slug name to restore the original link.
Is it a bug or something else?
Nevertheless, I prefer a numeric or PHP direct style permalink to be reliable.
Can I configure the permalink setting?

Main Forum slug (community or forum or whatever) doesn't change by itself.

What exactly you mean " the link is broken "?

It would help if you can/will post a url or a capture. Otherwise we can't guess.

Yes but what "broken link" means ? For example from "forum" is converted to WHAT?

And if you don't touch the base url, it can't be change by itself.

wpForo is not (yet) an AI plugin.

😀

Also are you using latin standard character set or not?

Definition. A broken link is a web-page that can't be found or accessed by a user.
