OK, i use this thread also for 2 other questions:
1. is it possible to disable the automatic redirect to the latest post?
2. is there a workarround to disable the img src.... html if a user simply copy/paste content from another website? I know i can switch to the text editor, but i dont want this. With buddypress there was an option that those kind of html was automaticly removed.
In your case you have only tow option or use the code or the widget, both cannot work together.
We cannot provide another code which wouldn't affect on the widget functionality. Talked with the Devs for a new code, but unfortunately the core doesn't let to do that.

Navigate to Settings > Action Logging & Views, and check: "Topic Links - Jump to First Unread Post" option.

There are two options for that:
1. press CTRL Shift V
2. Press "Paste as Text" button(Next to Spoiler Button in the Editors Buttons), before pasting
