Not sure if this by design, mod error or a bug.
Scenario; merge a topic posted today into a topic made two weeks ago, the new topic is correctly merged as the last reply on the older topic but, the topic does not get "bumped" to the top as one would expect, it stays in the same position as it was two weeks ago whereas I would expect it to be bumped to the top upon merging the new reply.
Clicking the "Update post dates (current date) to allow append posts to the end of the target topic" makes no difference to this behaviour.
A similar thing happens when moving a reply to a different topic.
Could you please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page and click on [Delete all cache] button? Does it fix the issue?
Hi Robert, Deleting the cache has become standard operating procedure now for checking 😎
Unfortunately no, deleting the cache makes no difference (and neither does control+f5)
