Hi,

I did all the translation in .mo and .po files and uploaded it in plugins/wpforo/wpf-languages

I tried to name it wpforo-fr.mo or wpforo-fr_Fr.mo but still not working.

Some translations are ok but not all.

WPML was install but removed and delete.

How can I make it work ?

Thanks

@ysty,

I suggest checking the plugin called Loco Translate to translate the wpForo plugin.
More info here: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/translation/getting-involved-in-translation/

@alvina I already can translate it in the wpforo options.
The problem is there's 700 inputs and we already translate it in the po and mo files.
So we search a solution to not doing it a second time.
Is it possible ?
Thanks

I did all the translation in .mo and .po files and uploaded it in plugins/wpforo/wpf-languages

You should not upload the translation files in the core wpForo folder. You should know that the plugin update process removes the folder completely and create a new one with the new version. So all files have been deleted and there is no why to find them.

The translated files should not be uploaded directly in the plugin folder. You should upload them in either: /wp-content/languages/plugins/ or /wp-content/languages/ directory. Maybe they are still there, and you can download them.

But the best way is using Loco Translate plugin and copy file to either: /wp-content/languages/loco/plugins/ or /wp-content/languages/plugins/

Also, you can download/export other people translated PO/MO files from wpForo translation section: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/wpforo/

But I already have the translated files. The problem is that not all translations are visible in the forum..
