I tried a plug-in and got nowhere. I want to put this at the top of my member search. I want to label it. "Tips for searching" When clicking the "Tips for searching", they will have a bullet list of tips.

! I have really tried hard to figure this out. After about 6 hours of trying, I have gotten nothing. Notta.

I know how to get it there; it just does not work when testing.

Appreciate some input.

Thanks in advance

wpForo Has Admin Note feature. It's located in the Dashboard > wpForo > Tools > Admin Note admin page.

It includes 'Display on forum pages' checkboxes, allowing you to choose where to display it.

Additionally, it can be hidden or displayed separately for different usergroups.

Nothing works; I am probably missing something simple. Like I said, I spent a lot of time trying to do this.  I even tried a plug-in and spent all my time primarily in this area.

I got the text showing where I needed it to be. I just could not get the "read more" to function properly. I mean I really tried everything.

Thanks for your response.

@sofy, thanks for the input. maybe this will help

This is what it looks like on top of members page and on admin note page

please see attached. I have tried adding a snippet, using a plug-in, and various other ways.

I am back to square one.

@danno6116

You should write a custom JS code to make it work as you like.

Currently, we offer paid plugin customization and PRO support services at the gVectors Team. You can contact them if you're not familiar with codding: https://wpforo.com/pro-support/#customization

Hi @sofy, Thank you for your input. I put in a request with pro support. I will see what they say. This feature should work. I do not understand why it would need custom JS. Anyway, I will see what they say and report back here with any news.

Thank you again

@danno6116 Those are the Forums for wpForo addons and not "pro support".

Pro Support is here => https://wpforo.com/pro-support/
