After installing/activating the plugin on a wordpress-hosted site; I am unable to add forums or categories. At first, I got an "unable to add forum" error message. I then deactivated and reactivated the site. I no longer get that error and it appears to be successful in adding forums, etc. but nothing appears in my forum listing.  No errors and all data comes back ok in the tools panel.  Here is the database info:

I think you have a hard cache on forum page. If you use some cache plugin please exclude forum page from that plugin. wpForo has built in cache system.

Also delete wpForo built-in cache if something is not correct. You can delete wpForo built-in cache in Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page.
