I want to customise the wpForo theme, but when I do that in the normal theme file, all my customisations are lost when the theme is updated. So, I've made a child theme and put the customisations in the wpForo folder in the child theme.

Now, the following weird thing happens:
It recognises that the theme contains customised files, but instead of getting them from the child theme, it tries to receive them from the parent theme, resulting in a 404.

To clarify: If I enable the child theme with the customisations, there is no CSS, not even the default one.

How can I fix this?

Hi,

We've checked again and did not find such an issue on our test websites. Please review the steps you are following once more and ensure that everything is done correctly.
