Hi,

I'm trying to log in the back office of my Wordpress site using 'site/wp-admin'. What happens then is I get redirected to the user log in page of the wpForo forum.
So basically I can't login to my site anymore, or at least I don't know how...

Please help?

Regards

As the admin, you should still be able to see the admin bar at the top of the site. If that's not there, then I can see how you might be a bit stuck and panic!

Once you are logged in via the wpForo login, just enter the admin address into the browser address bar  https://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin/

What you could do is use a plugin called Nav Menu Roles. You can add things to your site menu that are only visible to those logged in who have a certain level of user access. So on my site, I have a menu item for the admin page and it is only visible to admins who are logged in. Much easier if you ever lose the admin bar for some reason.

Thank you for your reply.

The problem is I have no idea what my password is for the wpForo. I tried my general wordpress log in but that doesn't work. The 'forgot password' function also doesn't work....

Should have been the same login. Anyway, glad to hear it is sorted.
