Hello,

I am encountering an issue with the wpForo plugin where the wpforo_topic_url function cannot be found. Specifically, the following error message is displayed:

wpforo_topic_url function not found. Please ensure the wpForo plugin is installed.

Here are the details of the issue:

  • Plugin Version: [Plugin Version]
  • WordPress Version: [WordPress Version]
  • Page/Function Where the Error Occurs: [e.g., Topic page or admin panel]
  • Error Message: As shown above
  • Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
    • Reinstalled the plugin
    • Checked the function and class files (e.g., wpforo.php, autoload.php)
    • Verified plugin settings

I have investigated and found that the wpforo_topic_url function is not present in any of the plugin files. This function should be defined somewhere in the documentation or code, but it is missing, leading to unstable behavior.

If anyone has experienced a similar issue or has any advice on how to resolve this problem, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Additionally, if there are any updates or additional settings required for the plugin, please let me know.

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

Please deactivate the wpForo plugin, delete it, then find and activate the wpForo plugin again.

If you don't have any forums or topics, you can uninstall wpForo, delete it, and then find and install it again. The uninstall button on the Dashboard > Plugins admin page will delete all forums, topics, settings, and configurations.
