Is it possible to switch to WpForo from the following Wordpress plugin? It works through a plugin called WPQA. I want to switch to WpForo.

Please check the migration options of Go2wpForo tool. As far as I see it supports WPQA:

Please let me know which version of Go2wpForo you use? Also, leave some screenshot of the error.
