Thx for the reply - but there stops my migration train because at this moment you can't migrate phpbb3 3.2 to bbpress with the latest version of bbpress. To pay hundreds of dollars for the migration service is not an option with a small website. Fingers crossed and hope you guys make a migration tool soon.

I think you will make a lot of phpbb3 users happy with the migration tool, because phpbb3 is a wonderfull forum but the integration with Wordpress is a pain in b**t - with crappy bridges etc.

We got some problem in Go2wpForo tool. The tool was designed for WordPress forum plugins. phpBB is a stand-alone forum. We have to care about file attachments, bbCode and separate user database. So this is the reason why we didn't finished migration tool. We might release a light version in a few weeks. Which will only convert users, forums, topics and posts. phpBB attachments are encrypted and saved without extensions. You should copy all attachment files and past in certain folder of WordPress before starting migration.
In other words there are many extra changelings in stand-alone forum migration process and takes more time.

It has been finished about two month ago. Unfortunately we didn't find time to test it and work on User interface. I'll ask our developers to take a look on this. Probably we'll add it here for public download by end of this week.
