When I make a post on wpforo, how can I get that to show up in the buddypress activity stream like bbpress does? I went with wpforo because I like the look and feel, but I am regretful now that I realize that some of the functionality with bbpress may not be there with wpforo. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
bbpress and buddypress are developed together for each-other. BuddyPress has function to detect bbPress topics and posts, but it doesn't have wpForo topic/post detection functions. This should be added from BuddyPress side. We'll take this under consideration and try to use some hook in BuddyPress activity page to include wpForo activity. But I don't have any guarantee for success result yet.
wpForo 1.4.6 now does this. 🙂
Probably the only thing missing, IMHO, is syncing of the wpForo/WordPress avatars into BuddyPress (instead of using BP's proprietary avatar system).
