I manage a members only website. The menu is only visible once you have logged in.
If I log in as administrator, the menu disappears.
If I log in as a subscriber, where you have fewer rights, the menu is visible. I use Ultimate Member and WP Foro as extra plugins.
When I deactivated Ultimate Member, I got a white screen and could no longer log in. In the error log I saw that WPforo was the cause. I deactivated wp forum via direct admin. Then I could log in again. Then Ultimate Member was activated again.
The menu does not remain visible in admin mode.
Any idea what could be the cause?

Could you please provide the error.log? This will help us better understand the problem and identify its source.
Unfortunately I can't retrieve yesterday's error log.
The problem with the menu has now also been resolved.
If the problem occurs again I will upload the error log.
I was still able to find the error log, see attachment.
Maybe you can take another look at it....

Please deactivate and delete the 2.2.8 version and install the new 2.2.9 version. Don't forget, clear the logs.
