Until you solve the avatar problem, disable the show avatar from the widget. That way there would be no empty column.

I would, but I can see them here in 2 out of my 4 browsers. Not sure why you can't.

Could you please edit the Guest usergroup and make sure the "Front - Can view avatars" is enabled.

As I mentioned earlier, I have always been able to see the avatars in Edge and IE whether I was logged in or logged out of my site. They have been absent in Chrome and Firefox.

At you direction, I enabled Guest Usergroup "Front - Can view avatars".  I still could not see the avatars in Chrome or Firefox when logged out on those browsers. I logged in on both Chrome and Firefox and was able to see the avatars. I then logged out on both and was still able to see the avatars. I then cleared my website data from both browsers, and I can still see the avatars in both when logged out.

What are you seeing from your side, now?

Now it is working all right. I can see all the avatars.
