I suspect this is likely local to me but thought it worth asking as I've searched your support forum but cannot find anything to help.
If I try to use wpforo's built in login/register and password interface, there is a problem. You can login, you can register, however the link sent in an e-mail to the newly registered user to set their password does nothing, all it does is refresh the page it lands on, it does not take them to the password set up box.
The link looks formed correctly (example below, test account now deleted so its safe to post)
I understand that the underlying system of account management is wordpress, However I've just installed a 3rd party login/register and password package and this works perfectly, but WPForos interface does not. This would suggest that its a wpforo problem or a conflict. For now I have disabled wpforo handling accounts and am now using the 3rd party module. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I would prefer it was all via wpforo.

First please let us know what have you set for these three options in Forums > Settings > Features admin page:

Then, leave a screenshot of the Forums > Settings > Members admin page where we can see these options:

Then let us know what plugins you use. And please disable all plugins, delete all caches and test it with new registered user.

look again, its one photo showing both requirements, I separated them with a red line. Above red line is the first requested settings below the red line is the second requested settings.
