Nearly every single time I go to my forum, I eventually am forced to "Force Quit" the page as it sucks the life out of my laptop. I can only imagine I am losing traffic en masse.

In the screenshot attached, you can see how much memory the Forum page sucks out of my laptop.  I took a progression of how much memory the page takes. I sat there and watched the Activity Monitor grow from about 14G to 22G.  Impossible.  There is clearly a "Hole" somewhere within the Forum.  Well beyond my scope for this. But, I'd love to resolve this issue once and for all so that I no longer have to force quit the page, nor my traffic.

@Chris was just granted Admin access to my website so, I still have GVectors as an Admin; I can forward the password and login information to whomever.

This problem probably has nothing to do with the size of the page because I could be looking at one main thread and there be only one topic, and the problem occurs.

This is a very very long list of forums you have. Not what a forum should be. Just an advice.

Also this:

<!--

	761766 bytes batcached for 300 seconds
-->

must be removed.

Looks like a caching something, it is either a plugin or your hoster.

Not sure what exactly batcache is and from where it comes from.

@dimalifragis I actually do not have a cache inside Wordpress at this time.  And, Wordpress hosts my site.  I will see if there is a cache system I can add to the site internally.

Thank you for the information

@dhtaylor No, do not add caching plugin to an already cached site.

NO caching for wpForo.

REMOVE that "batcache" from your wpForo page.

Hi @dhtaylor,

Your website works normal when we check it, it's not using so much memory, try checking your website with another browser and another computer. We see that there are lost of AdSense requests to other external links.

Also check Site Health from Dashboard > Tool > Site Health Admin Page.

@chris

I am using the Ads Manager. There must be something going on with that as it is generating the requests (or, allowing this to occur).
is there anything that anyone can do for this or, should I post a banner somewhere stating that if there is a browser issue, switch browsers?

I have test your website, it loads normally, i use windows system PC with Brave browser.
Did a test by inspect element, to fully load by blocking ads it took 6.23sec but with ads goes over 30sec to fully load, can be too many ads reason, not sure.

I suggest you install WP Optimize plugin to speed the website up more, then test wit GTmetrix to compare before/after.
This plugin was one of the best to improve my website performance, tested from around 5 popular plugins.

Also might be something on your local computer Browser issue.
Did you try reset browser settings and cache or reinstall/update it?

As a side note the layout is too small for wide screens.

@itesla Thank you for this. I will work on this later and add that plugin.  Also, I am using an Apple with Safari browser.  Not the best browser on the planet; I am aware.  But, still there are issues that appear to be beyond just the ads and browser.
