When I updated to 1.6.2, the text editor was gone and replace with a basic text box.

Please delete all caches, delete hosting cache if you have, then purge CDN and JS/CC minify caches.

Could you please deactivate the W3 Total Cache plugin and check again.

Don't forget to press Ctrl+F5 (twice) on frontend before checking to reload updated JS/CSS files.

In most cases, this is a conflict with other plugins. Please check this list:

https://wpforo.com/community/faq/conflicts-with-other-plugins/

I recommend deactivate all plugins and check it. Then activate those one by one and find the problem maker.
