I am new to wordpress and to wpforo plugin and trying to add a forum into a wordpress site I am doing and got stuck on some issues
1) On the forum page, I can't seem to get rid of the sidebar that looks to be a default one as it's got search at the top followed by archives, categories and Meta, where do I change the page layout please?
2) On the forum page, at the top I get Sorry no results were found and a search bar underneath. I thought it would show the main forum name and the ability to create a new topic, how do I get to post a new topic?
3) I am using simple membership plugin and have protected the forum page so users need to be logged in to view the forum page but it's not working and I can still see the forum page when I should get a message that says I need to be logged in to view the page

@chris Sorry I got bit stuck.
I got the forum showing on http://beechwoodsolutions.co.uk/sites/tftdirectorysite/community/ but if I click on general chit chat, it goes to http://beechwoodsolutions.co.uk/sites/tftdirectorysite/community/general-chit-chat/ and says Not Found
@chris Sorry I may be winning slowly, I got the main forum showing still on http://beechwoodsolutions.co.uk/sites/tftdirectorysite/community/ and managed to get the forum that is within the main forum showing now on http://beechwoodsolutions.co.uk/sites/tftdirectorysite/community/chit-chat/
I'll create a new topic if get stuck on anything else
