Hi,

I have read your FAQ about SPAM.

More and more users are registering and inserting html code in the biography field.

Is it possible to prevent users from entering html code when registering?

Thanks

Biography field is not a wpForo field, if am not mistaken. Also registration is not controlled by wpForo.

It's true.

Once a user has registered in the forum, what they do is access to their user account in wordpress through the path /wp-login and there they modify their data and enter html code in the biography field in order to be able to get a backlink.

Any suggestions to avoid this type of spam?

Thanks.

Well, you should install some Wordpress security protection. Here they use Cleartalk but many others also exist.
