I am using WP Foro "user groups" to allow users with a custom role to manage the forums/forums settings. I have granted this custom role full administrator access to WP Foro Forums, but when logged into this role and attempting to access any WP Foro page in wp-admin I am redirected to wp-admin. Am I missing something or do user groups only work with vanilla wordpress roles? I would think it wouldn't matter what the role is as long as it is associated with the user group, this role is able to access other plugins admin perspective as well without issue.
Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Started from wpForo 1.5.0 version forum usergroups are synchronized with WordPress user Roles. The synchronization direction is from User Role to Usergroup. It means if some user Role is changed by some plugin or by website admin the Usergroup of this user will be changed automatically based on Role-Usergroup relation setting in Forums > Usergroups admin page. This helps to make wpForo compatible with paid membership and other User Role based access regulator plugins.
Note: The [Synchronize] button changes all users Usergroups according to the users Roles. For example, if you select "Contributor" Role for "Registered" Usergroup, all users with "Contributor" Role will get "Registered" Usergroup in forum.
You can see User Role - Usergroup relationship and synchronization status in User Role table below the Usergroup list on the same Forums > Usergroups admin page:
If you want to disable Role-Usergroup synchronization and manage Usergroups and User Roles independently, please navigate to Forums > Settings > Features admin page and disable "Role-Usergroup Synchronization" option.
Thank you for the response, unfortunately I have already synched the role to the usergroup and am still unable to allow access to those within the usergroup/role.
I have attached an image of the usergroup->role assignment and of the usergroup's settings. I am trying to allow users within this usergroup full administration rights to all wpforo dashboards/settings. Currently the pages redirect to wp-admin when logged in under this user role.
Please advise and thank you for your assistance.
Any ideas? This is a key component of a project I am working on and am not sure of how to work around users of non-administrator role being allowed to access this page.
