Hello!

Is there a way for a user to post anonymously to the forum?  I still want to know who it is if the post is inappropriate - but there are several users that would like to post without their profile/information shown

I'm sorry, but there is no way to post an Anonymous post. The current user can simply change his/her profile information.

Also you can enable Guest Posting. This will allow to post a reply without profile information.

To enable guest posting please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Forum Access Tab, edit the Read Only access and enable "Can create topic", "Can post reply".... permissions.

To make guest posting secure navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Tools admin page and configure reCAPTCHA for Guest Topic and Post Editors.
