Please don't do network activation. All subSite admins should activate for own subSite separately to get all necessary permissions in forum.

In addition to my comments above, I also noticed that I cannot deactivate, delete or uninstall the plugin to reinstall it from the network admin dashboard > plugins. Instead I can uninstall it from each of the subsites (image attached).

This is not wpForo issue. This is your account permission issue.

Hi,

I uninstalled WPForo and then reinstalled it and activated it only on each subsite. The forums now work on the subsites with the plugin activated, however, when I make a new user on the subsite as a WordPress Editor and assign it to the WPForo Admin usergroup, they don't get complete admin access to the forum. Instead they only get access to moderation and users within the wpforo menu panel, although Admin access is set to full access to the entire wpforo menu panel.

Please advise.

Thanks

Robert

Please try these to solutions:

1. Navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard of that subsite and click on  these buttons:

  • [Synch User Profiles]
  • [Delete all Caches]

2. Navigate to Dashboard > Forums > usergroups and click on [Synchronize] button and wait till 100%.

Hi,

I've followed each step in the order as instructed, but to no avail. I cannot manage to grant a new user Editor role and full admin access or admin-like access to forums in wpforo.

I can get the entire wpforo dashboard menu to appear for this user role but they cannot actually view or access any of the forums from the back end. Instead when they click on Forums they get a notice which says access denied (please see attached).

I need to make a Wordpress Editor on a subsite that also has full access to edit the forums on the same subsite.

Please advise. Thanks!

permission denied

Hi @kales,

I'm sorry but I cannot help you without admin access. Dozens of things maybe worn in your dashboard. Please send admin login details to support[at]gvectors.com email address. We'll check it within 1-2 days.
