We just updated wpForo core without new version release (new version comes soon with some important changes and bug fixes). You can deactivate (not uninstall) wpForo, delete plugin, search and install it again. It's save process, you'll not loos any data.

Please don't open new topics regarding this issue, we're here and are working find to fix all issues. Once you updated core, it'll be automatically set default wordpress reset password page, unless you've not inserted custom URL in according settings.

I'm seeing the same issue and resetting people's passwords by hand all day (and I've had to refund a new subscription because of it).  Is there a way to adjust the code for version 1.4.1 instead of reinstalling it?  I'm nervous about losing a lot of customization work by deleting everything.  Thank you for your help and for allowing me to jump into this thread.

Ok perfect, this worked for me as you instructed. I de-activated the plugin, deleted it and then re-installed it. My Custom URL for reset password is not working perfectly.

You can mark this thread and closed.

Cheers,

Lawrence

When you deactivate (not uninstall) and delete plugin it doesn't delete any data in database. Then you search and install wpForo again. The same process goes on plugin Update, but you don't see it, it goes in backend. So you'll do the same update by deactivating, deleting and installing again.

Okay, I'll back up everything and give it a try later.  Thanks for this information!
