Have been using WPforo for quite a some time. This is my forum https://tradingscans.com/
However, I have noticed that gradually my most active thread is going slower and slower to reply. All other threads take replies fast. But this one is dead slow. Am I missing something out?
If the issue is only for replies, then your issue is the outgoing (smtp) emails send. Unless there is some kind of error.
Do you use any smtp plugin or you use normal Wordpress sending?

Hi @dimalifragis and @ @blackraz , thanks for replies. I am using mailpoet and I tried this completely uninstalling the plugin also. I have noticed the following:
1. Yes, the problem is only woth replies.
2. I have disabled every plugins one by one and tried - Problem exists
2. The problem is specific to only one thread which have more than 500 replies.
3. Short threads gets replied in 3-5 seconds.
4. Qna threads get replied in a fraction of second.

Also enable Standard Wordpress debug for a few hours and check the DEBUG.LOG for issues.

As for mail poet, it is NOT an smtp plugin (is it?). So you use standard SMTP out of Wordpress? yes?
@dimalifragis I believe yes then. What and how to check errors for that please? I have already had a view on my database. Seems all is as per recommendation. Attaching a screenshot, if your dev eyes catch something unusual.
