Ok, so the problem in your registration form. It doesn't support all WordPress hooks so wpForo can't detect the registration action and create Forum profile with all necessary permissions.
Please call the URL I've mentioned above to synchronize users. Then navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page and click on [Delete All Caches] button. then ask the users to check again.
Hi
I am really nervous about using that link, in case it messes up the rest of my database!
I am not convinced that this is a problem with how people are registering, because for the vast majority of users this is working fine.
If the form were the problem, surely it wouldn't work for any users?
One use it this week tried for three days to get into the forum without success. He then registered again using exactly the same form, but a slightly different email, and it worked fine.
The problem I have tonight is users who have already posted on a thread received an automated email from WP Foro telling them there has been a reply. When they click the link in the email, they cannot see the forum. If they log in and then click the link, it still redirects them to a member dashboard. But the link in the email works fine for me.
They were previously able to access and post in the forum, but now can't, but nothing has been changed in their user profile all set up.

I have no idea how to fix this and I have had seven angry customers complaining just to see evening.
I really hope you can help. Thanks.
To clarify: all of the affected users have had WP Foro profile is created and some of them have even managed to edit them
Ok, that's great!
So what's the problem? Please let me know in one two sentences the problem. It seems I can't follow you.
Where we can see the problem?
Have you tried to delete all caches in Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page?
Do you use any cache plugin? if so, please exclude wpForo page from the cache plugin.
