What form is that? Where is the email displayed?

hmm... wpForo doesn't show emails. What do you mean?
The only way to show emails is putting the email as a display name. Just ask your users to go My Profile > Account and change the Display Name field value.
BTW, it seems your website user registration is only used on email address, so WordPress gets email address as username. This is not wpForo issue. Please read this FAQ topic: https://wpforo.com/community/faq/nickname-vs-username-vs-display-names/
