My wordpress set up has a custom page set as the home page for the wordpress.  And of course, the wpforo plugin is also installed.  When I go to the home page I can see the title of the custom page that I created but below it is the forum.

The rest of the custom page, the text is not showing.

How do I get the home page, the one that I created, to show without the forum?

Make sure your forum shortcut is not placed on that page you have selected to be your homepage.

The forum shortcut must be on a different page, then you can link to your forum from your homepage.

Hope that makes sense.

Also take a look at the documentation here on "Getting Started"

Cheers!

Thanks so much for the reply but the code is not on the page designated as the home page.  I checked that first thinking I left it on, but no.  It's just the text.  I've even tried designating other pages like the contact page, terms and service page, etc. as the home page on the Wordpress settings but I still keep getting the exact same page.

The only difference is the title of the page changes according to the page that I designated as the home page.

You can take a look.

@estherckane,

Please carefully review this documentation. You'll find instructions on how to disable the components here: https://wpforo.com/docs/wpforo-v2/settings/display-components/#forum-menu-search-section-and-breadcrumb
